Drains placed under the skin are generally removed out the day after the surgery. Stitches will be covered with a dressing until the wound heals.

You generally don’t need to have the stitches removed after a brachioplasty operation since self-dissolving stitches are used.
What are the complications of a brachioplasty operation?
As in all surgical operations, there may be delay in wound healing or fat necrosis problems after a brachioplasty operation.
